Locum - Physician - OB/GYN in Rockport ME

MaineHealth Pen Bay Hospital is seeking a dedicated OB/GYN physician for a locum opportunity from June 2026 to December 2026. This full-time position is situated in a vibrant facility that handles approximately 250 births annually offering a blend of clinical duties and call responsibilities with a 1:5 call rotation. As a part of an actively recruiting team for a permanent position this role presents a unique opportunity for involvement in a supportive community setting.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide full scope OB and GYN care.
Participate in a mixture of clinic and call duties.
Engage with the team to ensure high-quality care for patients.
Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system.
Contribute to the hospitals mission by delivering compassionate and comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

Board Certified in OB/GYN - REQUIRED
Active ME License or Active IMLC LOQ - HIGHLY PREFERRED
Willingness to review candidates for licensing is encouraged.

License and Certification Requirements:

Board certification in OB/GYN is mandatory.
Active medical license in Maine or IMLC LOQ is highly desired.
