Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Position Overview

Under the direction of the Shop Supervisor independently performs a variety of minor tasks and assists tradespersons or other maintenance personnel in their job function.

Experience

  • Two years experience in assisting with trades-related maintenance work in institutional buildings required.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

  • Complete Grade 12 education Manitoba standards required.

Certification/Licensure/Registration

  • Current Manitoba drivers license required.

Physical Requirements

  • Manual dexterity required.
  • Must be able to withstand periods of strenuous activity.
  • Job requires heavy lifting bending and working form scaffolds high level platforms and in confined spaces and enclosures.

Preference will be given to those applicants competent in an Indigenous language and/or knowledge in Indigenous customs traditions and values.
