Under the supervision of the KitchenCoordinatorthe Youth Kitchen Helperis responsible fora variety of duties which include but are not limited to grocery shopping food preparation andassistwith cookingassistwith fooddeliveryand clean up. This position willbe responsible formitigating allergies and dietary needs asidentifiedby the cook.

An Eligibility List may beestablishedfrom this competition the duration of the eligibility list may be up to 12 months. The eligibility list may be used to fill future permanent full-time permanent part-time temporary full-time temporary part-time termor auxiliary on-call vacancies within the same department and classification based on the organizational needs by going the next highest ranked candidate until the eligibility list expires.

EssentialQualifications:

• Must be a Youth aged 15-30.

• Cooking courses or equivalentexperiencean asset.

• Good working knowledge ofTrondëkHwëchinculture and traditions.

• Experience safelyutilizingknives and other kitchen equipment.

• Good organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to meet deadlines.

• Ability to manage allergens and dietary needs.
