Year 3 Teacher Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Year 3 students.
- Assess track and monitor student progress providing regular feedback and setting targets.
- Implement teaching strategies that meet the needs of a diverse classroom.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices.
- Maintain a safe inclusive and positive classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and wellbeing.
- Participate in staff meetings professional development and school-wide initiatives.
Year 3 Teacher Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Education or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Year 3 or Key Stage 2 in a primary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual learning needs.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and collaborative teaching.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to working in a team environment.
