Job Summary

We are working with a prestigious and inclusive primary school in Kensington that is seeking a passionate Year 3 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis starting January 2026. Year 3 Teacher Responsibilities

  • Plan prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Year 3 students.
  • Assess track and monitor student progress providing regular feedback and setting targets.
  • Implement teaching strategies that meet the needs of a diverse classroom.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices.
  • Maintain a safe inclusive and positive classroom environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and wellbeing.
  • Participate in staff meetings professional development and school-wide initiatives.

Year 3 Teacher Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Year 3 or Key Stage 2 in a primary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual learning needs.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and collaborative teaching.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to working in a team environment.
