A large inclusive secondary school with a thriving Sixth Form in Central Northamptonshire is seeking a Business Studies ECT.
School Description
The school has around 1400 students and is rated Good by Ofsted with a strong focus on personal development careers guidance and academic achievement. The Sixth Form is well-established with strong progression routes into university and apprenticeships in business and related fields.
Business Department Insight
The department offers GCSE Business and vocational/business-related post-16 pathways. Staff work collaboratively on resources assessments and project-based learning often linked to real local employers and enterprise projects.
The Role
- Teaching Business Studies across KS4 and contributing to KS5 as you develop
- Planning and delivering lessons with support from an experienced mentor and department colleagues
- Supporting enterprise activities coursework and business-themed projects

An ambitious ECT with a real interest in applying business theory to real-world contexts and supporting students from a range of backgrounds.
