Senior Procurement Manager (m/w/d)
Your Tasks:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement long-term procurement strategies aligned with business objectives. Lead cost-saving initiatives and drive operational efficiency.
- Supplier & Contract Management: Identify evaluate and manage supplier relationships. Negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and mitigate risks. Monitor supplier performance and resolve disputes.
- Provide functional leadership for Procurement team members ensuring alignment with processes standards and strategic objectives.
- Process Optimization: Improve procurement processes and adopt innovative sourcing practices. Implement and manage procurement technologies and systems.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance Legal and other departments to align procurement activities. Support sustainability initiatives through strategic sourcing.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to procurement policies ethical standards and regulatory requirements. Analyze procurement metrics and report on performance and savings.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Proven experience in procurement and strategic sourcing preferably within the aviation or ground support equipment sector.
- Excellent negotiation analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage large-scale supplier contracts and complex procurement projects.
- Proficiency in procurement management software and tools.
- Proficient in German and English both verbal and written.
- Drivers licence.
