Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse will provide skilled nursing care case management and hospice care to individuals facing advancing age frailty and serious illness. Responsibilities include patient assessments medication administration treatment planning and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Strong communication and collaboration with patients providers and other team members are essential. This role requires at least 2 years of experience and exceptional skill particularly with Neuro patients and experience with Cardiovascular Multi-trauma Gun Shots Stroke and Stemi Center Motor Vehicle Accidents Ortho patients.

- Develop and implement treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
- Monitor and document patient progress.
- Float between PCU and ICU overflow units as needed.
- Provide care for patients with Cardiovascular Multi-trauma Gun Shots Stroke and Stemi Center Motor Vehicle Accidents Ortho conditions.
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients.

- Active Registered Nurse license.
- ACLS certification.
- BLS certification.
- NIH certification.
- LA Fire Card certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience.

Special Considerations:
- Must be comfortable working with high acuity neuro population STEMI receiving CABG/Valve/IABP CRRT Sepsis and Surgical patients.
- Must be comfortable floating between PCU and ICU overflow units.
