Job Title: SAS/SQL Analytics Consultant

Project Background

This team handles customer remediation efforts impacting:

Credit Card
Rewards
Personal Lines & Loans (PLL)

Due to increased remediation volume multiple hires are needed.

What the Consultant Does

Work with the business to understand issues
Identify required datasets and fields
Pull data from Teradata & Oracle
Perform joins merges filters inclusions/exclusions
Build SAS/SQL code from scratch
Document the entire process clearly for review partners

Required Day-to-Day Breakdown

70% Data work: SAS Enterprise Guide SQL Teradata
30% Documentation: Explain what they did why they did it
Must be strong in joins & merges in SAS
Must be able to write SAS & SQL independently
Must communicate clearly with reviewers

Nice to Have

Background in Credit Cards / Rewards / PLL
Strong Teradata experience

In this contingent resource assignment you may:

Consult as an expert to develop or influence initiatives and resources for highly complex business and technical needs across Analytics.
Consult on the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas.
Deliver long-term large-scale solutions requiring vision creativity innovation and advanced analytical and inductive thinking.
Provide expertise to senior leadership on innovative Analytics business solutions.
Strategically engage with client personnel on complex issues.
