Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 1 3 technical support for production systems including Linux servers networking and system-level services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance configuration networking and storage.
- Monitor overall system health and performance using system monitoring tools.
- Prioritize and manage multiple open issues simultaneously.
- Collaborate with internal teams to document best practices and expand the internal and external knowledge base.
- Follow up with clients after troubleshooting to ensure full system functionality.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including manuals and support notes.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships ensuring a professional and positive support experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Strong Linux administration skills especially in mission-critical environments.
- Experience with system performance monitoring tools.
- Solid networking knowledge including firewalls VPNs TCP/IP troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Basic database understanding including SQL querying and troubleshooting.
- Proven experience in roles such as Technical Support Engineer Desktop Support Engineer or IT Help Desk Technician.
- Exceptional communication troubleshooting and customer service skills.
- Highly motivated organized and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
