Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Patient Access Representative you will be thechampion of first impressionsbymaximizing your talent for organization operations and customer service with plenty of opportunity to lead and guide change within our dynamic healthcare environment.
Every day you will cultivate a positive experience for all patients family members visitors and staff by efficiently managing the full scope of the patient intake process. You will verify insurance benefits clearly communicate financial obligations and collect patient payments at the point of service. Furthermore you will contribute to team development by mentoring new associates and assisting with their orientation.
To be successful in this roleyou will demonstrate exceptional critical thinking keen attention to detail and proven knowledge of insurance billing and medical terminology. Your strong customer service skills and patient-first mindset driven by a profound enthusiasm to help others will ensure a seamless high-quality patient intake experience.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Experience with Microsoft Office Outlook Excel Word Power Point Windows XP Windows 7 utilization of website searchengines
- Physical Requirements -Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally)
Preferred
- Office experience in a healthcare environment medical terminology ability to multitask and prioritizingskills
