Job Summary

Job Title: Social Work - Look After Children
Location: Aylesbury
Pay Rate: 40 per hour.

Liquid Personnel is recruiting aChildrens Social Worker to join its clients Look After Children team based in Aylesbury.

What will your responsibilities be

Manage a caseload of children who are in the care of the local authority.
Develop implement and regularly review care plans tailored to each childs needs.
Ensure childrens placements (foster care residential care kinship care) are safe stable and supportive.
Promote the childs health education and emotional wellbeing ensuring access to appropriate services.
Maintain regular contact with children through statutory visits and direct work.
Prepare and present reports for Looked After Child Reviews.
Work closely with birth families carers schools health professionals and other agencies.
Support children through transitions including reunification with family adoption or leaving care.
Advocate for the childs voice to be heard in all aspects of planning and decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have.

Social Work England registration
Eligible to work in the UK
Hold a full UK driving licence
Post-qualified experience
Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
