The Assistant Manager will support the overall operations of the jewellery showroom ensuring seamless functioning across sales customer service staff handling and inventory control. The role requires strong leadership excellent customer interaction skills and the ability to maintain showroom standards while assisting in meeting sales targets.
Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the showroom to ensure smooth workflow.
Support the sales team in achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Handle customer queries provide product guidance and ensure high service quality.
Supervise staff performance allocate duties and guide team members as needed.
Monitor showroom cleanliness product displays and overall presentation.
Assist in inventory management stock checking and coordinating replenishment.
Ensure adherence to security safety and operational procedures inside the showroom.
Support in managing customer grievances and ensuring timely issue resolution.
Coordinate with the Manager for showroom strategy reporting and daily updates.
Oversee billing accuracy and ensure smooth checkout processes.
Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in showroom operations customer service or retail managementJewellery industry experience preferred.
Strong understanding of retail operations and customer-handling procedures.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Leadership and team-handling capabilities.
Strong sales orientation with the ability to upsell and cross-sell jewellery products.
Knowledge of jewellery products purity standards and market trends (added advantage).
Inventory management skills and attention to detail.
Problem-solving ability with a customer-focused approach.
Good computer skills (MS Office billing software).
