Job Summary

The FDS Specialist plays a pivotal role in advancing financial performance enabling strategic decision-making and supporting business growth across Human Resources and Customer Operations. This position serves as a trusted financial partner to senior leadership delivering data-driven insights robust financial analysis and actionable recommendations. By leveraging expertise in financial modelling budgeting and forecasting the specialist drives operational efficiency ensures financial discipline and supports key initiatives such as investment planning cost optimization and resource allocation. The role demands close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Finance HR and Operations to align financial strategies with organizational objectives and deliver transparent timely reporting to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Human Resource and Customer Operations leadership to develop annual budgets forecasts and long-term financial plans.
  • Perform financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives particularly in materials procurement and utilization within Customer Operations.
  • Provide financial guidance on business cases investment proposals and cost-saving strategies to functional leaders.
  • Collaborate across departments to identify process improvements and opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Work with the Finance and HR functions to enforce financial accountability and ensure compliance with budgetary policies.
  • Prepare and present regular financial updates and performance reports to senior leadership including the Telecel Group COE.
  • Maintain and report on a monthly fleet tracker to monitor the efficient use of business assets.
  • Support the FP&A Manager in preparing the annual budget rolling forecasts MPR and ensuring alignment with company-wide financial goals.
  • Coordinate with the financial reporting team to deliver accurate and timely month-end financial statements.
  • Assist in contract negotiations involving land lease vehicle lease and insurance agreements.


Requirements

Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field.
  • Strong analytical conceptual and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid foundation in accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all financial deliverables.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation.
  • Confident and effective communication skills with proven ability to present complex financial information clearly and persuasively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholders across functions particularly within technology and operations.
