| Job Summary: |
This position serves as a key member of the Recharge and Recovery Section in a fast-paced team-oriented environment. The person in this position is responsible for a variety of tasks including permit application reviews issuance and transfers of long-term storage credits review of annual reports and records and database management. Responsible for organizing and concurrently coordinating extensive reviews of multiple complex applications within statutory licensing time frames including coordinating reviews with the sections hydrogeologists and frequently communicating with both internal staff and external customers. Works with the sections lead file manager and hydrogeologist to make recommendations on applications to the section manager the division assistant director and the director of ADWR.
The sections work is complex and often time sensitive. Successful candidates must have the ability to take initiative and responsibility prioritize and pay careful attention to detail and timelines. The ability to accurately analyze and apply regulations and policies is crucial.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely within Arizona based upon the departments business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.A minimum of two days on-site at the ADWR officeper weekis required.

This position requires possession of and ability to retain a current valid state-issued drivers license appropriate to the assignment.
| Pre-Employment Requirements: |
Seven (7) years of professional level water resource management experience OR Bachelors degree and five (5) years OR Masters degree and three (3) years OR PhD and one (1) year.
