An Emotional Health Practitioner to work within theSCAYT team (Supporting Carers and Young People Together)at Lancashire County Council.

Are you an enthusiastic individual witha wealth of experience working with children looked after and adopted and experience of working therapeutically if so wed love to hear from you. We are excited to welcome an Emotional Health Practitionerfor 37 hours per week to complement our service and the children and families we serve. Our SCAYTservice provides therapeutic interventions to contribute to the emotional health and wellbeing of children looked after and adopted including the parents/carers and professionals who support them.A small part of the work will be working directly with children while the majority of SCAYTs work is completed with the childs main caregiver social workers and other professionals who are involved in the childs care planning. The job role also entails delivering training to carers adopters and are looking for a practitioner who is self-aware reflective and able to demonstrate great interpersonal searching for a therapeutic professional who wants to make a positive impact in the lives of this significant role you will be joining a valued team of professionals who place children and families at the heart of everything we if youre experienced in attachment theory systemic practice and therapeutic principles then wed really love you to apply to join us!

We have one full time post based at Riverbank Childrens Centre Preston Brieryfield Road PR1 8SR. Please note the post requires travel across Lancashire.

Compassionate Well need a compassionate individual who will assess each unique situation and can assist care givers to manage challenging behaviour whilst fostering acceptance attachment and the love and care each child needs your aim will be to understand the difficulties both children and care givers face whilst delivering best practice to support them well need you to be well versed in Dyadic Developmental Practiceand PACEto assist children and families who have experienced trauma so if youre an empathetic individual who can provide therapeutic support then apply to join this amazing team of like-minded professionals.
