Description

As a Principal Channel Sales Manager- Electrical Products at Honeywell in UKYou will be responsible for protecting and growing existing contractor business while actively identifying pursuing and converting new project opportunities. Working closely with contractor partners and internal teams youll ensure MK products are at the forefront of electrical solutions across new key construction and refurbishment projects.

Were looking for a dynamic commercially driven individual looking after Major Contractors for MK by Honeywell to take ownership of relationships with major electrical contractors and drive project-focused growth for the MK brand. This role blends strategic account management business development and project pipeline management ideal for someone who thrives in a technical fast-paced and customer-centric environment.

This is a Remote role with 60-70% Travel within UK based on your current region.

Key responsibilities

  • Account Management & Relationship Development- Own and manage relationships with major electrical contractors across the region. Maintain protect and grow existing business by delivering exceptional support and value. Conduct regular contractor visits project reviews and performance updates. Develop long-term partnerships by understanding contractor needs challenges and growth plans.
  • Business Development & Project Growth- Identify and convert new project opportunities within the contractor channel. Build and manage a robust project pipeline from early stages through to order conversion. Work collaboratively with contractor partners to secure MK as the preferred electrical solutions provider.
  • Commercial & Strategic Execution- Develop and deliver territory growth strategies aligned with MKs commercial objectives. Track project activity forecasts and performance metrics using CRM tools. Monitor market trends competitor activity and emerging opportunities providing insights to the wider team. Ensure contractor pricing agreements quotations and proposals are managed effectively.
  • Internal Collaboration- Work with the wider sales team marketing and product specialists to support key campaigns and launches. Partner with distribution sales teams to ensure project alignment and smooth order fulfilment. Provide market and customer feedback to help shape product development and commercial strategy.

Key skills and qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales project-based selling wiring devices circuit protection and cable management or electrical industry account management.
  • Strong understanding of the electrical contracting market including project cycles and decision-making structures.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with contractors at multiple levels.
  • Commercially astute with strong negotiation and pipeline management skills.
  • Excellent communication presentation and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Self-motivated organised and comfortable working autonomously in a field-based role.
