The iconic Hotel del Coronadois looking for aFront Office Overnight Manager on Duty to join the front desk team! Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world and after a $400M renovation and expansion the resort is more stunning than ever.

Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms cottages and villas with 65000 square feet of banquet space and 10 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants 2 bars a food truck marketplace ice cream shop and in-room dining.

Classification:Full-Time

Shift: Various must be available to overnights weekdays weekends and holidays.

Pay Rate:The annual salary range for this role is $ and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.


What will I be doing

As the Night Manager on Duty you would be responsible overseeing hotel operations in the absence of theDirector of Front Officein the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Will work the PM Over Night shift
  • Oversee all hotel operations to include but not limited to guest service and registration (check-in/check-out) staffing room inventory and availability guest service standards and initiatives product quality cost controls and overall profitability systems use and management department management and policy and procedure implementation and enforcement
  • Meet and greet guests and respond to guest inquiries requests and issues in a timely friendly and efficient manner and resolve guest concerns
  • Handle all VIPs from check in during stay and check out
  • Communicate with Events managers and group account specialists to ensure the needs of incoming groups as well as those of affiliated VIP guests are met and attended to
  • Patrol the hotel and the property to observe service and quality levels and safety and security status to address any issues or concerns
  • Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
  • Other tasks as assigned
