We welcome skilled Master Machinists who bring mechanical intuition deep knowledge of manual equipment and a passion for producing flawless close-tolerance work.
As a Master Machinist youll work with mills lathes grinders and drill presses to create precision tooling components and perform machining rework on critical aerospace parts.

Tools for Liftoff:
* $30.00 to $55.00 per hour

Schedule:Flexible either four 10-hour days or a standard Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (approximate)
Your Flight Path Responsibilities:
* Set up and operate manual mills lathes grinders and drill presses independently
* Use your own strategy for clamping holding and machining to achieve optimal outcomes
* Select and install proper tooling fixtures and materials for each job
* Perform in-process inspections using precision measurement tools
* Maintain adherence to production schedules and dispatch lists
* Stage materials tools and fixtures for efficient workflow
* Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to improve processes and reduce cycle times
* Use your own strategy for clamping holding and machining to achieve optimal outcomes
* Select and install proper tooling fixtures and materials for each job
* Perform in-process inspections using precision measurement tools
* Maintain adherence to production schedules and dispatch lists
* Stage materials tools and fixtures for efficient workflow

Details:
Pre-Launch Checklist:
5 years of manual machining experience preferred
Strong blueprint reading and GD&T understanding
Mechanical aptitude and exceptional problem-solving skills
Experience with calipers micrometers height gauges indicators etc.
Skilled in selecting and setting up tool holders cutters fixtures boring bars inserts
Familiarity with AS9100 or other QMS preferred
High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to analyze problems collect data and draw accurate conclusions
Strong blueprint reading and GD&T understanding
Mechanical aptitude and exceptional problem-solving skills
