TorontoWhat you will do:
The Building Operator must be able to interpret building drawings and will be required to ensure all building systems (HVAC fire alarm electrical building automation plumbing etc.) are operational and must be able to trouble shoot to make repairs as needed or arrange for 3rd party service providers to execute repairs or trouble shoot as deemed necessary. Furthermore the building operator will carry out preventive maintenance on building HVAC equipment and perform scheduled fire alarm system tests and inspections as necessary as well as carry out general building repairs (doors drywall painting ceiling tiles carpet etc.) as the need arises. Lastly the building operator will be available to address any requests generated by home office employees and provide resolutions in a timely manner.

Qualifications:
OSGD
Post secondary education/training in building operations
Trades licenses
A minimum of 5 years working experience as a Building Operator
Knowledgeable in building systems (HVAC Fire Alarm Automation Plumbing Electrical etc.)
Ability to perform general building repairs with both hand and power tools
Technical aptitude and able to work with minimal supervision
Good communication skills
Detail and service oriented
