Job Summary
As a Product Developer you play a key role in contributing towards securing best product from a customer perspective in connection with Global assortment strategies.
Working with the global teams you are responsible for co-executing the market development plan and supplier/product strategy on your product categories together with relevant stakeholders.
Having ownership in securing product development flow and sample handling process you seek further possibilities and opportunities in your local market in line with long term assortment strategy.
You act as the customer eye and work proactively to educate suppliers with customer education.
You are acting as a product representative on the ground and play an important role in problem solving.
You promote and share sustainable innovations covering both components and processes.
Qualifications :
Minimum 2-4 Years of experience in Home textile industry.
Work experience in a buying house/liaison office.
Additional Information :
Must have:
- Drive innovation - Knowledge of Trends Cost Analyze and Secure Product strategy.
- Knowledge to make business case on new categories / Suppliers.
- Drive Supplier development (Existing and New) by collaborating with other suppliers.
- Knowledge of yarns and fabrics.
- Market scanning for new Opportunities
