Responsibilities
- Partner with T&D and Business Development/New Energies teams to provide financial insights that support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
- Lead annual budgeting and monthly forecasting incorporating scenario planning to assess commercial risks and opportunities.
- Deliver actionable variance analysis and performance reporting to ELT highlighting drivers of profitability and recommending corrective actions.
- Manage operating and capital expenditure ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and return on investment.
- Support cost optimization initiatives and maintain robust financial controls to safeguard compliance and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate capital investments new energy projects and strategic partnerships enabling informed business case decisions.
- Influence commercial outcomes by challenging assumptions identifying growth levers and supporting negotiations with external vendors
Qualifications :
- Ideally CA CPA or similar business qualification
- 5 year finance experience desirable ideally in an Information Technology/Large Corporate environment
- Communication skills both verbal and written
- Fast learner with a proactive can-do attitude and a strong willingness to support others.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use large data sets
- Ability to use systems in a large corporate commercial environment e.g. Excel Power BI JDE Adaptive Insights.
