Scientist – Analytical Testing & Assay Development

Join our Vienna-based team and get involved in developing and executing high-quality analytical testing strategies. Youll work hands-on with advanced systems like TECAN and HPLC contributing to pharmaceutical innovation and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design optimize and troubleshoot ELISA methods using the TECAN system
• Perform in-process sample testing and activity-based assays
• Analyze of process development samples via HPLC and other analytical platforms
• Prepare and review scientific documentation (validation protocols reports) in English
• Conduct secondary reviews of analytical data (ELISA HPLC electrophoresis protein/activity assays)
• Maintain and oversee TECAN instrumentation
• Support inventory and asset database management

Qualifications:

• Degree (BSc MSc or PhD) in Analytical Sciences Biochemistry Pharmaceutical Sciences or Food Chemistry
• Experience in regulated lab environments (pharma or biotech preferred)
• Proficiency in ELISA HPLC and electrophoresis techniques
• Hands-on experience with TECAN systems
• Strong problem-solving and method troubleshooting skills
• Excellent scientific writing and documentation abilities
• Independent planning and communication skills (PowerPoint reports protocols)
• Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
• A collaborative mindset and openness to working across international teams
