Job Summary
As a Senior Recruiter the incumbent will play a pivotal role in our talent acquisition strategy. Responsible for sourcing attracting and hiring talented candidates for various positions across the organization. Key Accountabilities:
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from initial candidate contact to onboarding ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
Meets with hiring managers to determine staffing requirements and ascertain/clarify job requirements.
Develops proactive recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels.
Utilize advanced sourcing techniques to identify and attract passive candidates through networking social media referrals and other channels.
Develops and maintains professional relationships with college university and community college placement offices.
Ensures pipeline of candidates is robust and diverse by partnering with Workforce Development and ERG partners.
Schedules and attends job/career fairs; Travel is required.
Effectively screens candidates to determine qualifications based on job requirements.
Sells qualified candidates on the benefits of joining the company.
Ensures offer letters are issued to candidates who have been extended offers of employment and follow-up letters are issued to candidates who are not selected
Provides advice guidance and training to hiring managers regarding recruiting interviewing screening assessment and selection techniques and ensures the interview process is facilitated and closed effectively.
Ensures all employment practices are in compliance with equal employment opportunity affirmative action and employment laws.
Maintains records of applicants offers new hires promotions and transfers as required for reporting purposes.
Keeps abreast of current and evolving employment laws.
Will assist and participate in our career center activities and day to day management.
Requirements:
5 years of proven recruitment experience with strong record of successfully filling various niche or difficult positions. Nuclear experience highly preferred.
Exceptional communication interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems or other recruitment software. Workday preferred.
Experience with a wide variety of job boards and strong Boolean searches.
Experience partnering with multiple business leaders and executives to fill critical roles.
Handle high volume of matters while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders in the recruitment process.
Travel is required
Must have excellent planning and organizational skills.
MS Office applications experience.
Ability to self-direct and take initiative to search/solve for answers.
Resourceful and project management experience.
Team-player- ability to work well and support other members on the team.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experienced gained through college degree programs and certifications or equivalent experience.
