About the Role

As the Finance Controlling leader of the Sound United Strategic Business Unit you will lead all financial management activities across a global footprint. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic financial planning analytical forecasting and operational finance oversight to support business growth and profitability in both domestic and international this role you will use strong finance expertise to create and execute on financial strategy compliance and operational finance within a commercial consumer electronics environment and manage multiple brand portfolios across global markets.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement long range and short range financial strategies aligned to business objectives.
  • Lead financial forecasting budgeting and scenario planning across global markets.
  • Partner with senior leadership to drive finance performance and strategic decision making.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with local and IFRS.
  • Oversee monthly quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements.
  • Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with KSOX.
  • Direct financial operations across a global footprint ensuring operational efficiency and cost control across manufacturing and non-manufacturing sites.
  • Manage global finance strategies currency risk and international tax considerations.
  • Lead preparation and presentation of financial reports audits and executive dashboards to senior leadership.
  • Deliver insights on operational costs inventory management and sales performance.
  • Build a high performing global SBU finance team.
  • Foster a culture of ownership accountability and continuous improvement and cross functional collaboration.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Bachelors degree in finance Accounting or related field.
  • 15 years of progressive finance leadership experience including global operations and manufacturing.
  • Proven experience in strategic finance planning compliance and operations.
  • Deep understanding of local and international accounting standards.
  • Strong analytical communication and executive presentation skills.
  • Experience in navigating complex global environments and lead across cross cultural teams.

Bonus Points if You Have

  • MBA or CPA
  • Experience in managing multiple brand portfolios.
  • Experience with ERP and finance analysis platforms.
  • Comfortable working in a matrixed organization and influencing across functions.

What Makes You Eligible

  • Be willing to travel up to 20% domestic and international travel as needed.
  • Be willing and able to work in an office based in Carlsbad CA. (Hybrid Model)
  • Due to the nature of global infrastructure you understand that flexibility in working hours is required.
  • Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment

Salary Ranges:

$ 240000 - $ 352000
