Job Summary
As a Software engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking division you will play a pivotal leadership role in maintaining the operational stability availability and performance of our production services. Your responsibilities will include identifying troubleshooting and resolving issues to guarantee a seamless user experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end application and infrastructure service delivery for successful business operations.
- Execute policies and procedures ensuring engineering and operational stability.
- Monitor production environments for anomalies and address issues using standard observability tools.
- Escalate and communicate issues and solutions to business and technology stakeholders.
- Lead incident problem and change management in support of full stack technology systems.
Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3 years applied experience
- Proficiency on AWS Cloud Platform with system design application development testing and operational stability.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Helm chart.
- Experience in designing deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters across various environments.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Kubernetes Terraform Python and Shell scripting technologies.
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery tools like Jenkins.
Preferred Qualifications Capabilities and Skills
- Ability to lead by example and guide the team with technical expertise.
- Ability to identify risks/issues for the project and manage them accordingly.
- Experience with PostgreSQL AWS RDS Aurora or Teradata preferred.
