Job Summary

Emerald Zebra is partnering with an established and reputable Forex company to hire a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join their Finance team in Limassol on a hybrid working schedule.

About the Role:

This role is crucial for ensuring accurate daily bookkeeping client fund management and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities -

Perform daily bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records
Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts and financial reports
Process client money reconciliations and ensure adherence to regulatory standards
Handle tax and VAT tasks including returns and submissions
Liaise with external auditors tax advisors and banking partners
Support the Head of Finance and Operations with inter-company transactions and group reporting
Assist with administrative tasks related to finance and operations (filing payment approvals partner communication)

Your Profile:

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in Forex or financial services accounting client fund handling and multi-currency reconciliations along with strong analytical and reporting skills.

Requirements -

Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
Forex or financial services experience is essential
Proven experience with client fund handling and daily reconciliations
Degree in Accounting Finance or a related discipline
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Xero or similar software is an advantage
High level of accuracy attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
