Schedule:Monday-Thursday 9:30am- 6:00pm & Sunday 9:00am-6:00pm

Responsibilities

Our Customer Service Pharmacy Technician coordinates communication between pharmacy providers and facilities while resolving prescription issues in a timely efficient courteous responsive reliable and respectful manner.

This person will:

  • Answer and submit inquiries regarding patient information and medication therapies
  • Take requests for refill orders out on pass patient discharge orders and special delivery requests
  • Assist the pharmacist with facility and physician office communications
  • Obtain patient information for our database by calling patient care representatives and physician offices
  • Utilize judgement in knowing when to escalate issues to the management level
  • Utilize various programs such as Outlook Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Complete assigned projects upon request in a timely manner
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • One year of previous experience with direct client communication - customer service
  • Prior healthcare/pharmacy experience preferred
  • Strong computer and data entry skills
  • Must have good oral communication skills attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred
