Job Summary

1. Role Overview

Mercor is seeking highly skilled expert reviewers to support a leading AI research initiative focused on evaluating and improving large-scale text outputs. This short-term remote opportunity involves critically reviewing written material to identify logical inconsistencies inaccuracies or unclear reasoning. Ideal candidates will have advanced academic trainingpreferably a PhDand thrive in analytical detail-oriented work.

2. Key Responsibilities

Review large volumes of text for factual accuracy coherence and logical consistency
Identify and annotate errors contradictions or unclear phrasing
Provide concise feedback to guide iterative content refinement
Maintain high accuracy and efficiency under tight deadlines

3. Ideal Qualifications

PhD or advanced graduate degree in a relevant discipline (humanities sciences or engineering)
Exceptional attention to detail and analytical reasoning ability
Demonstrated experience in text analysis research or academic review
Strong written communication and time management skills
Ability to process and evaluate information quickly and accurately

5. Compensation & Contract Terms

$5070/hour depending on expertise and experience
