Location

Hybrid role based in the Austin TX area. Approximately 85% remote with occasional on-site work for key audit tasks and collaboration.

Note

Candidates must have at least some audit experience (internship or 1 year). Must be able to work in the Austin area as needed.

Job Description

Support financial audits by performing testing walkthroughs and workpaper documentation
Assist with fieldwork and audit procedures in collaboration with senior leadership
Prepare audit schedules reconcile accounts and ensure all supporting documentation is accurate
Communicate with internal staff to resolve discrepancies and ensure timelines are met
Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy
Contribute to continuous process improvements and maintain organized audit files
Take on additional preparatory and accounting work immediately prior to the main audit period

Qualifications

Audit internship or 1 year of audit experience in public accounting or a related environment
Bachelors degree in Accounting or a closely related field
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
Commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines
Must be located within a reasonable commuting distance to Austin TX
