We are seeking an experienced Optometrist looking to make a significant impact in a new multi-specialty community-focused healthcare setting. Join this healthcare facility in launching a brand-new optometry practice within a reputable multi-specialty non-profit health center dedicated to serving rural populations. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose eye conditions including refractive errors and diseases.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and vision therapies as well as medications as needed.
• Provide patient education on eye care and refer patients to ophthalmologists or other specialists when necessary.
• Deliver pre-and post-operative care and evaluate patients for additional medical conditions uncovered during exams such as diabetes and high blood pressure.
• Act as the sole Optometrist on-site with the opportunity to build and grow the practice through networking with local practitioners and community resources.

Benefits:

• Competitive guaranteed salary range of $150000 to $175000 commensurate with experience and skills (including languages).

Requirements:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school.
• Valid state optometry license or in the process of obtaining.
