Job Summary
Learning Prep School in West Newton MA is seeking Per Diem Substitute Teachers working in both our High School and Middle School buildings to join our team immediately for the 2025/2026 School Year.This is a great opportunity to join a mission-driven school community in a flexible classroom-based support role! Our substitute teachers provide coverage across Middle and High School academic and elective classes supporting students with language-based learning disabilities. All classes are capped at 8 students and sub work is prepared by the classroom teacher. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with a variety of age levels and subjects in a warm structured and supportive may be scheduled in advance or called in on short notice to cover unexpected absences. We are looking for flexible proactive communicators who can step into a classroom setting and contribute to consistency and student students have complex learning needs and we are committed to providing them with the education they deserve! LPS is a school for kids with complex profiles whose primary area of need is a language-based learning disability. While we are not a therapeutic setting or a program for students with significant behavioral support needs we do offer speech-language pathology occupational therapy and counseling as part of our service delivery is a great place to work!
