The Occupational Therapy service at Manning Base Hospital works across many clinical settings including Emergency Department inpatient and community caseloads. The small team fosters supportive and positive working relationships and the OT team is a much-valued member of the multi-disciplinary team. The Occupational Therapy service values the contributions of all members of the team and provides opportunities for learning and skill development in a supportive team environment.

About the role:
Manning Base Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a versatile experienced Occupational Therapist to join their team on a permanent full-time basis! The role is a Level 3 Occupational Therapist with the opportunity to work across multiple clinical areas including but not limited to the Emergency Department and multi-purpose unit. The role would involve providing high quality Occupational Therapy service in an acute setting. The role would require willingness to cover a 7-day per week service.
In this role you will be supported by the Occupational Therapy Department Manager the Emergency Department Occupational Therapist and the rest of the Occupational Therapy Team. You will also be supported by members of the hospital multi-disciplinary team. You will have access to orientation based on your background and level of experience as well as a range of supportive clinical specialists. You will receive regular clinical supervision within the role and also have access to a supportive network of Occupational Therapists working across the LMNCS. Education and training opportunities will be identified and agreed upon as part of performance development discussions.
About you:
The Level 3 Occupational Therapist will have experience in a wide variety of clinical areas and experience working in an acute clinical setting. You will provide a high-quality evidenced-based clinical service to patients and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and development. You will be able to prioritise a caseload across a variety of clinical areas. You will be able to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team but also to work autonomously. You will be required to provide support and learning opportunities to junior Occupational Therapists.
