Synergie is seeking a Waste Sorters for our client who in a leading waste management facility located at Coolaroo VIC.

• $36.70 per hour Super
• Temp to Perm Opportunity
• Days and Afternoon Shifts available

What you will be required to do:

As a Sorter you will play a key role in supporting recycling operations by sorting recyclable materials on a fast-moving conveyor line while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Sorting recyclable materials from a fast-moving conveyor line
• Working in a repetitive noisy dusty environment
• Cleaning work areas and outdoor spaces as required
• Performing general labouring duties
• Conducting waste audits for council representatives and clients
• Completing accurate reporting in a timely manner
• Performing routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
• Reviewing procedures regularly with a focus on safety and continuous improvement

To be successful in the role you will:

• Hold a valid car licence (essential)
• Have a good work ethic and strong reliability
• MUST be comfortable with Waste smells
• Be able to perform repetitive tasks over long periods
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety and compliance
• Be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with a team
• Possess high attention to detail
