We are seeking an experienced Inspector Water/Wastewater to oversee critical construction activities. This role involves ensuring compliance quality and safety across major infrastructure works. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervise construction of sewer pump station excavation and concrete works.
- Oversee large trunk sewer installations via open trench construction.
- Monitor tunnelling operations and provide technical input where required.
- Manage challenges related to hard rock excavation contaminated soils and dewatering/water treatment processes.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed progress reports.
- Ensure adherence to project specifications safety standards and environmental requirements.
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Were looking for:
- Proven experience in water and sewer construction supervision.
- Knowledge of tunnelling techniques and associated safety protocols.
- Familiarity with handling hard rock contaminated soils and water treatment systems.
- Excellent record-keeping and reporting skills.
- Strong understanding of construction standards and compliance requirements.
- Contract management experience or knowledge (advantageous but not essential).
- Ability to communicate effectively with contractors and stakeholders.
