Tech. Lead Vehicle Gen-AI

Role Overview:

We are seeking highly accomplished and passionate Gen-AI expert with leadership skills and Track record to deliver AI based products.

This will be a technical leadership role looking into strategic enablement and scaling of Gen AI topics for automotive software. You will be defining roadmaps and strategies for enabling Gen AI solutions across new generation BMW cars as well as guiding the team technically on AI models and their lifecycle.

Will act as a key mentor guide and subject matter expert empowering our team to build a strong foundation in AI while maintaining their core programming proficiency.

Experience:

• 10 years of AI Development experience 3-5 years Experience in AI Model Design including transformer-based Models (e.g. Multimodal Image encoders)
• Proven track record of successfully designing developing and deploying AI/ML solutions in a production environment. Demonstrable experience in a technical training mentorship or consulting role preferably within a corporate or academic setting. Experience working with diverse teams and adapting training methods to different learning styles. Prior experience understanding AI &ML Talent its unique talent landscape and educational systems is a strong plus.

Academics:

Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning Data Science or a closely related quantitative field from a reputed institution.

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in major programming languages used in AI (Python and C are highly preferred). Deep expertise in various machine learning algorithms deep learning architectures and GenAi/ Transformers models. Hands-on experience with popular AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow PyTorch Keras scikit-learn etc. Familiarity with cloud-based AI platforms (AWS SageMaker Azure ML Google Cloud AI Platform).
• Solid understanding of data structures algorithms and software engineering best practices for AI systems. Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and ML Ops. Proficiency in working with large datasets including data cleaning preprocessing and feature engineering. Trainer/Consultant Skills.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences (technical and non-technical).
• Strong interpersonal skills with a patient and empathetic approach to teaching and mentoring. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Ability to inspire motivate and empower others to learn and grow.
• A passion for continuous learning and staying updated with the rapidly evolving AI landscape. Strong organizational and time management skills.
