An Ofsted Outstanding grammar school in Watford is seeking an enthusiastic ECT Maths Teacher to join their high-achieving Mathematics Faculty from January 2026. The successful candidate will teach GCSE and A-Level Maths to motivated pupils in small ability-grouped classes.

The Role What Youll Do
Teach Mathematics at KS4KS5 to high-attaining pupils.
Deliver lessons across algebra statistics calculus and problem-solving.
Use assessment and feedback to secure rapid progress.
Assist with Maths enrichment such as UKMT Olympiads and Further Maths.
Support planning of schemes of work and collaborative departmental projects.
Maintain high standards of behaviour and academic focus.
Participate in pastoral duties and wider school activities.
Person Specification
Essential
Degree in Mathematics or related field.
PGCE/QTS (Maths).
Strong subject knowledge at KS4KS5.
Commitment to safeguarding and ongoing development.
Desirable
Experience with Edexcel.
Interest in enrichment or Further Maths.
