About the Science Department
The Science Faculty is large specialist and highly collaborative comprising subject experts in Biology Chemistry and Physics. The department places a strong emphasis on practical investigation and scientific enquiry supported by excellent facilities and a skilled team of technicians. As an ECT you will be supported with team-teaching opportunities shared planning and weekly developmental mentoring sessions to help you establish strong classroom practice.
The Role
Teach Science across KS3KS4 (KS5 opportunities available later)
Deliver practical experiment-led lessons that inspire curiosity
Work collaboratively on planning assessments and enrichment activities
Contribute to STEM clubs competitions and wider school life
Requirements
ECT specialising in Science (Biology Chemistry or Physics route)
Strong subject knowledge across KS3KS4 combined science
A genuine passion for delivering high-quality science education
