Senior Legal Counsel

At Noda were building seamless Open Banking solutions that make payments smarter faster and safer. Were now looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join our team and help drive the next wave of fintech innovation.

Your mission:

• Provide legal advisory support across the business: commercial contracts
  (merchant partner and vendor agreements) licensing service terms data
  processing agreements and related documentation.
• Lead negotiation of key commercial and strategic transactions (e.g.
  partnerships integrations and vendor/supplier agreements).
• Work closely with the risk compliance and operations functions to align
  legal strategy with operational requirements and regulatory obligations.
• Develop maintain and refine Nodas legal policies procedures and
  templates (contracts data protection privacy cybersecurity and intellectual
  property).
• Provide corporate governance support: board and shareholder matters
  corporate entity structure board minutes and resolutions.
• Monitor emerging legal and regulatory developments in fintech/payment
  services evaluate business impact and provide proactive guidance.
• Serve as a strategic advisor and business partner to senior management
  and functional leads balancing commercial objectives with legal risk.

Your skills and experience:

• 5 years of relevant legal experience (commercial contracts regulatory compliance) ideally within fintech/payments/financial services.
• Deep understanding of payments regulation (open banking PSD2 e-money regulations as applicable) data protection (GDPR) AML/KYC and fintech compliance.
• Strong commercial mindset: able to partner with business teams support growth anticipate issues and provide pragmatic legal advice.
• Excellent contract drafting negotiation communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced scaling startup/scale-up environment with dynamic priorities and evolving regulatory context.
