Job Summary

Job Title: Senior Engineer

Location: New York City NY

Prioritized must haves for the Senior Engineer:

#1. Advanced Expertise in HPE NonStop Tandem Systems

Strong hands-on experience with administration maintenance tuning patching and support of HPE NonStop Tandem environments (PROD DEV DR).
Deep knowledge of tools and utilities such as Enform Guardian OS Pathcom Batchcom RDFCOM SPOOLCOM etc.

#2. Experience with Tandem-hosted General Ledger Application (ATLAS)

Proven ability to administer develop maintain and support the ATLAS application.
Understanding of its integration with financial systems and ability to assist business users and IT in design and use.

#3. Banking Industry Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in the banking or financial services industry.
Functional knowledge of general ledger processes and financial products is essential.

#4. Strong Communication and Cross-Functional Coordination Skills

Ability to act as liaison between infrastructure applications and business units.
Skilled in writing documentation coordinating with teams and providing training/mentoring to others.

# Recovery Security and System Monitoring Knowledge

Experience conducting DR tests system backup checks and working with tools like ESKM SECOM SecureTape and OutsideView for secure and stable operations.
Awareness of system security and monitoring best practices.

Requirements for the Senior Engineer:

5 years of experience as a Tandem Engineer and/or Atlas Engineer.
3 years experience working in Banking
Advanced knowledge of HP Tandem Nonstop System and/or Atlas.
Advanced knowledge of Enform Guardian OS Viewpoint Viewsys Pathcom Mediacom Batchcom RDFCOM SPOOLCOM and IRS
Knowledge of SECOM Telemail SecureTape VLE ESKM key manager and OutsideView
Functional working knowledge of a broad scope of financial products
Good organization and multi-tasking skills.
Project Management skills
Good written and verbal communication skills

Other Key Requirements:

Hybrid work scheduled at least 2 days in office per week.
