Job Summary

Job Title: Stainless Steel Pipe Welder

Location: Glen Burnie MD

Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Stainless Steel Pipe Welder:

#1. 4 years of overall experience.

#2. Can set up welding machine & adjust accordingly for the process & material being welded.

#3. Hire by MAIC dependent on ability to pass welding test.

Responsibilities of the Stainless Steel Pipe Welder:

Capable of welding stainless steel pipe based on the following:
- STICK (SMAW) process
- TIG (GTAW) process
- 2 Socket Weld
- 1-1/2 24 Butt Weld (SCH 40 & SCH 80 Wall Thickness)
- Must be able to pass 2 6G Pipe Test and weld in all positions
- Weld quality must pass X-ray test.
Willing to work at least 40 hours per week or as much as 7-12s if required by contract.
Flexibility on work environment (ie dirty versus clean work).
Flexibility to work night shift as required (not likely but may be necessary).
Flexibility on working indoors and outdoors regardless of weather. This is not a shop environment.
Flexibility to work outside the trade if welding work is not available.

Requirements of the Stainless Steel Pipe Welder:

Own Transportation and willingness to work within the MAIC region (MDSouthern PA Northern VA Eastern WV and DE).
4-10s schedule (Mon Thu or Tues Fri) starting at 6:30 AM. o US Citizen or Green Card Verified.
Can set up welding machine & adjust accordingly for the process & material being welded.
Hire by MAIC dependent on ability to pass welding test.

Other Key Requirements:

100% in office role with travel
No Visa or Sponsorships. No Corp-to-Corp.
