Key Responsibilities Design and Analysis: Develop electrical system design (utility services power lighting etc.) in line with project requirements and industry standards. System Integration: Ensure electrical systems are integrated seamlessly with other MEP systems (mechanical plumbing etc.) for optimal performance. Site Surveys: Conduct on-site surveys and assessments to gather data evaluate existing conditions and inform system design and coordination. Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients architects and other engineering professionals to develop customized solutions. Project Management: Assist in managing project timelines resources and budgets to ensure projects are delivered on time and within cost constraints. Supervision: Provide guidance and oversight to production engineers ensuring quality work. Technical Support: Provide technical support to the team and clients during the project lifecycle from planning and design to construction and final delivery. Code Compliance: Ensure all mechanical systems comply with relevant local and international codes regulations and standards. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and review technical documentation specifications reports and drawings.
Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering preferably with a MEP design or consulting firm. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
Technical Skills: Proficient in electrical design and analysis software (e.g. AutoCAD Revit Energy Pro Visual AGI SKM etc). Strong understanding of building codes and standards including LEED certification processes. Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously balancing technical time and budgetary constraints. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize mechanical systems. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills capable of effectively collaborating with clients team members and stakeholders. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Additional Preferred Skills Experience in high-profile large-scale projects.
