Job Summary

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage quality-related documentation including control plans First Article Inspections (FAIs) blueprints and other relevant records.
  • Support the control of non-conformances Material Review Board (MRB) processes and Return Material Authorizations (RMAs).
  • Serve as the 5S Champion for the Quality Control area on the shop floor.
  • Perform inspections for Shipping and Receiving.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
  • Audit control plans and evaluate compliance with quality standards.
  • Conduct production floor patrols and inspections to identify non-conforming products.
  • Collaborate with production and tooling teams to address and resolve quality concerns.
  • Participate in internal audits and customer quality reviews as required.
  • Calibrate maintain and verify testing equipment to ensure measurement accuracy.
  • Perform First Article Inspections (FAIs) using customer prints and measurement tools; prepare inspection paperwork with dimensional results.
  • Manage the Quality Hold Area including incoming inspections customer returns and FAIs.
  • Conduct inspections and audits across PCIs three facilities to verify compliance with control plans.
  • Support ISO 9001 compliance efforts and corrective action initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or technical degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in a technical or quality control role is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with sheet metal operations and ISO 9001 standards strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret product specifications blueprints and related technical documents required.
  • Strong understanding of basic mathematics and measurement principles.
  • Proficiency with PDFs DXF drawings and 3D models (e.g. STEP files SolidWorks).
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail organization and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities meet deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) or Faro Arm is a plus.
  • Skilled in the use of manual measuring tools such as calipers height gauges pin gauges and tape measures.
