Job Summary

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage quality-related documentation including control plans First Article Inspections (FAIs) blueprints and other relevant records.
Support the control of non-conformances Material Review Board (MRB) processes and Return Material Authorizations (RMAs).
Serve as the 5S Champion for the Quality Control area on the shop floor.
Perform inspections for Shipping and Receiving.
Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
Audit control plans and evaluate compliance with quality standards.
Conduct production floor patrols and inspections to identify non-conforming products.
Collaborate with production and tooling teams to address and resolve quality concerns.
Participate in internal audits and customer quality reviews as required.
Calibrate maintain and verify testing equipment to ensure measurement accuracy.
Perform First Article Inspections (FAIs) using customer prints and measurement tools; prepare inspection paperwork with dimensional results.
Manage the Quality Hold Area including incoming inspections customer returns and FAIs.
Conduct inspections and audits across PCIs three facilities to verify compliance with control plans.
Support ISO 9001 compliance efforts and corrective action initiatives.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or technical degree preferred.
Previous experience in a technical or quality control role is highly desirable.
Familiarity with sheet metal operations and ISO 9001 standards strongly preferred.
Ability to read and interpret product specifications blueprints and related technical documents required.
Strong understanding of basic mathematics and measurement principles.
Proficiency with PDFs DXF drawings and 3D models (e.g. STEP files SolidWorks).
Experience with ERP systems.
Exceptional attention to detail organization and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external customers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel etc.).
Ability to manage multiple priorities meet deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience using a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) or Faro Arm is a plus.
Skilled in the use of manual measuring tools such as calipers height gauges pin gauges and tape measures.
