Job Summary

Role: Video Teleconference Support Technician

Location: Austin TX (Onsite)

Duration: 8 Months

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Provide comprehensive on-site support for VTC and A/V systems including setup live operation troubleshooting and post-meeting follow-up across both VTC and non-VTC rooms.

Conduct preventive maintenance manage equipment inventory handle logistics for repairs/deployments and document processes and user guides to ensure system reliability and continuity.

Train end users on VTC/A/V technologies and best practices while working closely with IT teams and vendors to enhance system performance and support statewide initiatives.

Minimum Candidate Characteristics:

4 years of experience with Video Teleconferencing Systems such as Cisco or MS Teams

Exceptional Candidate Characteristics:

Experience with Cisco WebEx

Experience with Public Transportation

Experience with conference room A/V equipment and solutions

Responsibilities:

Provide on-site support of the clients Video Teleconferencing Systems (VTC) at the Stassney Campus and support statewide VTC deployment efforts.

Provide on-site technical support for all VTC systems including setup troubleshooting and operation before during and after meetings.

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on VTC equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

Deliver user support and training for VTC and A/V technologies including educating staff on system usage and best practices.

Respond rapidly to service requests resolving issues related to sound video quality connectivity and display.

Support end users with A/V solutions in non-VTC rooms including general troubleshooting and equipment management.

Maintain accurate inventory of VTC hardware and coordinate logistics for equipment deployment and repairs.

Document technical processes solutions and user guides for staff reference.

Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to optimize VTC infrastructure and support statewide deployment efforts.

Perform other duties as needed

40/hr. a week onsite

Required Skills:

4 years of Experience supporting video teleconferencing systems (e.g. Cisco Microsoft Teams) in an enterprise environment.

3 years of Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware software and network issues.

2 years of Excellent communication and customer service skills.

2 years of Ability to provide real-time technical support and user training.

2 years of Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and incident management.

Preferred (Optional):

2 years of Prior experience in a large campus or multi-room Cisco WebEx environment

2 years of Experience with A/V solutions beyond VTC such as conference room audio and visual equipment.

2 years of Knowledge of inventory management and logistics for technical equipment.
