Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (OR RN) will provide skilled nursing care in the Operating Room. This role involves working 3x12 hour day shifts with potential on-call responsibilities and weekend work. The assignment is for 13 weeks and the nurse may be required to float to similar units to meet facility needs.
Location:Anchorage Alaska United States
Responsibilities:

- Provide skilled nursing care in the Operating Room.
- Patient assessments medication administration and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
- Coverage for call-offs as needed.
- Float to like units within scope to meet facility needs.
Required Skills & Certifications:

- Active AK RN license in hand for Auto Offer.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- ACLS certification.
- CNOR certification.
Special Considerations:

- On-call required for coverage of call-offs.
- Weekend work required.
- Time off is approved on an individual basis upon offer. All RTO must be included in submittal.
- The facility is a Magnet Facility Level II Trauma USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska.
Scheduling:
- 13-week assignment.
- 3x12 hour day shifts.
- Shift start times can vary: either 0645-1915 or 0900-2130.
- Guaranteed Hours: 60 Hours per 2 weeks - Traveler can be called off for 1 12-hour shift per 2 weeks.
