Position: Security Analyst - Project Lead
Location: Columbia SC (29201)
Client: State of South Carolina
Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:
We are seeking a Security Analyst - Project Lead for a hybrid role requiring three days onsite per week. The ideal candidate will lead security initiatives and ensure compliance with best practices in information security. This position offers a maximum bill rate of $102.50/hour and the possibility of extension after 12 months.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead security projects and initiatives ensuring timely delivery and compliance.
Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to safeguard information systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop security policies and protocols.
Monitor and analyze security incidents to enhance threat response strategies.
Provide training and support to staff on security best practices and protocols.

Key Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST ISO 27001 etc.).
Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
Proficient in risk management and vulnerability assessment tools.
Familiarity with network security protocols and firewalls.
Experience in project management methodologies and tools.
