Job Summary

BIOVAC is one of the leading sterile vaccine manufacturers rooted in Africa with our core purpose being to protect life. We are looking to hire a dynamic passionate confident proactive and meticulous SAP Functional Consultant to join a goal-oriented team

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:

Required:

Bachelors Degree in Information Systems
SAP Certification in MM SD or Warehouse Management

Experience needed to deliver the role seamlessly:

Minimum 8 years relevant SAP functional experience
Proven experience in SAP MM/SD/WM modules within a regulated pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of supply chain processes materials management and logistics execution
Working knowledge of GxP validation and change control processes
Strong incident management and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

SAP S/4HANA exposure or migration project experience
Cross-functional knowledge of FI/CO PP and QM integrations
Experience with SAP Solution Manager testing and audit readiness activities

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:

Core Technical Delivery:

Act as the subject matter expert for SAP MM SD and WM modules
Lead configuration testing and implementation of functional enhancements
Partner with business stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into SAP solutions
Manage change requests and incidents ensuring timely resolution
Support integration between modules and external systems
Perform functional testing validation and documentation in line with quality standards
Provide user training and develop functional documentation
Participate in audits ensuring systems are compliant and audit-ready.

Quality Management

Ensure compliance with GMP and other quality regulations
Maintain audit readiness through proactive quality management
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within SAP operations
Support CAPA deviation and change control management processes
Build a strong quality culture within the SAP and business teams

People Management

Mentor junior team members and support knowledge transfer across SAP functional areas
Foster collaboration between IT and business units to drive system and process excellence
