We are looking for you !

  • Pay $145K- $165K

  • This position is eligible for incentive compensation - Annual Bonus Plan

  • Travel 25% -30%

Leads and directs the Operations function for the region with emphasis on attaining safety financial growth and customer service objectives. Manages the activities of various Area Operations Managers who have direct responsibility for fill plant operations and transportation. Provide leadership and direction to control the manufacture and distribution of packaged gases. Manages and coordinates the safety maintenance compliance capital expenditures and budgeting functions of the Operations function.

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive operations leadership experience is required; with thorough knowledge of the gases related hard goods and transportation industries strongly preferred.

  • Experience in establishing business strategy short-range and long-range strategies along with establishing controlling and managing operating budgets and annual operating plans and objectives.

  • Experience in leading multi-level regionally located locations in both organized and non-organized associate environments is required. Focus of leadership on integrity respect and safety is paramount.

  • Proven experience in leading manufacturing organizations through operations excellence including planning and scheduling and schedule adherence driving continuous improvement methodologies

  • Strong communication skills including but not limited to negotiation influence and consensus building in order to interface with employees/customers at all levels within the organization as well as external customers vendors and agencies.

  • Bachelors degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year University.

  • Leads teams to develop and establish safety quality and delivery goals and objectives for products and services for internal and external customers.

  • Creates a strong people strategy that is focused on a culture of safety performance management talent management and positive work culture in accordance with company policies by hiring training motivating planning and directing work managing performance and resolving associate issues so that assigned performance targets are met or exceeded.

  • Develops capital expenditure budget and coordinates capital expenditures once proper approvals have been received.

  • Certificates/ Licenses: Valid drivers license and reliable personal vehicle with insurance coverage as required by the Company.
