For Applications Managers in CNC metal forming (press brake/folding environments):

Base Salary: $135000 - $150000 flexible/DOE
Bonus:10% TBD
Total: $150000 - $175000

Location: Peachtree City GA (Onsite)
Reports To: VP of Sales
Direct Reports: 2 Applications Engineers

Summary

We are seeking an Applications Manager to lead its Applications Engineering team across both pre-sales and post-sales functions. This role requires high-level experience in metal fabrication specifically with CNC folding or press brake environments. The Manager will coordinate team activity guide customers through demos and training and serve as a technical resource across Sales Service and Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Direction

Lead coach and develop a team of two Applications Engineers.
Manage daily priorities demo schedules customer requests and technical workload.
Establish and maintain consistent best practices documentation and application standards.

Pre-Sales Support

Oversee and conduct customer demos material trials and capability studies.
Advise Sales on technical feasibility machine capabilities and customer applications.
Participate in customer visits and technical evaluations to support the sales cycle.

Post-Sales Support

Support installations with programming assistance setup guidance and operator training.
Troubleshoot application-related issues in coordination with the Service team.
Help customers improve bending strategies workflows and machine utilization.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Sales for demo planning and technical sales enablement.
Partner with Service on escalated application questions.
Provide feedback to Engineering/Product Development on trends or recurring requests.

Required Background

Must have experience with metal fabrication at a high level: CNC folding or press brakes (non-negotiable).
5-10 years hands-on experience in CNC metal forming or related sheet-metal fabrication processes.
Strong expertise in bending/folding programming tooling setup and process optimization.
Proven leadership training or mentorship experience within a technical environment.
Strong customer-facing communication skills.
Must be onsite every day in Peachtree City GA.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with European or precision sheet-metal equipment (only included if applicable).
Familiarity with typical metal-fab workflows training environments or shop-floor optimization.
