Position Overview

Were seeking a Part-Time Order Fulfillment Specialist to work as an independent contractor at our home office location. Youll be responsible for accurately packing and preparing customer orders for shipment. This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking for flexible seasonal work in a small business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick pack and prepare customer orders based on daily packing lists
• Apply shipping labels and ensure proper documentation for each package
• Maintain inventory organization in the fulfillment area
• Alert management of low stock levels
• Perform quality checks to ensure correct products and quantities are packed
• Package products carefully to prevent damage during shipping
• Process orders within specified timeframes to meet shipping deadlines
• Maintain a clean organized workspace
• Track completed orders and update order management system
• Handle beauty and personal care products with appropriate care
• Assist with inventory receiving and organization as needed
• Follow all workplace safety and cleanliness protocols

Requirements

• Must pass a background check
• Comfortable working in a home office environment
• Reliable transportation to work location
• Ability to lift and move packages up to 25 pounds repeatedly
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic computer skills and comfort with online order management systems
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in order fulfillment warehouse or shipping/receiving
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify Amazon etc.)
• Experience handling beauty or personal care products
• Knowledge of shipping carriers (USPS UPS FedEx) and their requirements
• Basic inventory management experience
• Experience working in small business or home-based business settings
