Job Summary
Job Title: Needle Loom Operator
Job Summary:
The Needle Loom Operator is responsible for operating needle looms to produce polypropylene (PP) woven fabrics and FIBC-related materials. The operator ensures smooth operation consistent fabric quality and adherence to production schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate needle looms for the production of PP woven fabrics and related materials.
Monitor loom settings including stitch patterns speed and tension to ensure uniform and high-quality output.
Conduct routine inspections of looms and detect issues such as thread breakage needle wear or fabric defects.
Perform minor adjustments and basic maintenance on needle looms to maintain continuous operation.
Collaborate with supervisors and quality control teams to meet production targets and quality standards.
Maintain accurate records of machine operation production output and downtime incidents.
Follow safety protocols and company policies while operating machinery.
Report major mechanical issues to the maintenance department for timely resolution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Needle Loom Operator or in similar weaving machinery operations in PP woven bag/FIBC manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of needle loom mechanics and weaving techniques.
Ability to identify and correct fabric defects during production.
Hands-on experience in minor maintenance and troubleshooting of needle looms.
Attention to detail consistency and ability to work under production pressure.
Ability to read technical instructions and production specifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with high-speed or automated needle looms.
Familiarity with PP woven fabric types specifications and quality standards.
Knowledge of industrial safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to handle rolls of PP woven fabric or related materials safely.
Ability to work in industrial environments with exposure to noise and machinery.
